Island of Boracay

We never fail to visit Boracay every time we visit the Philippines, it’s my family’s favorite place, we do tons of fun activities there,  my kids can swim the whole day at the beach or in the swimming pool, the water at the beach is warm and the sand is very white and fine like powder. We always stay at the Discovery Shores resort, the employees there are always nice, and very polite.

On our way to the resort after the plane ride

The first activity my kids did was paddle boarding, I don’t have a picture because I was sleeping when they did it.  The next activity we did was rock climbing, Torch and Luke each did it twice.

3rd activity was ZORB, you’re inside a ball and it rolls from the top of the hill down into a swimming pool, you’re like a hamster in a ball LOL

Here are our ZORB pictures

I just took a picture of the picture, because they didn’t have CDs at the ZORB place.

Torch was afraid to try it, but I still wanted him to try,  so I forced him to do it. I asked him if he liked it, and he said, yeah he liked it but didn’t want to do it again LOL Luke liked it too so he did it twice, Tory liked it but he said he hurt his knee, but he is ok, I liked it!..

My most favorite part of our trip was me being a mermaid, when my sister told me all about it before I went to Boracay, I was super excited. The day when we arrived at our resort, I checked the info and scheduled it. I was there on time 🙂 3pm, I was the only adult in the group, all of the girls were 10 yrs old to 14 yrs old,  LOL we all got to pick our fins, I picked green, I was going to pick gold but Tory said I would look like a goldfish if I used gold LOL, Then the instructor taught us how to stand up if we didn’t want to swim.

We were stretching in this picture,

After stretching we went straight to the beach and put on our fins

It’s hard to swim with fins at first but when you are used to it, it’s fun and easy.  And maybe I have small feet so it’s hard to flip the fins.

I forgot to bring a good underwater camera 🙁 so all my underwater pictures sucked 🙁 I just rented an underwater camera from the dive shop but it was not that good 🙁 Tory my supportive husband took all my pictures, but all the pictures were dark 🙁 And he forgot to bring his googles so he couldn’t go underwater.

My prince charming caught me LOL

The next day, we went back to the place to get all my pictures, but I didn’t like the pictures 🙁 and my fin blended with the color or the water so you couldn’t really see it clearly, so I did a pictorial LOL and picked a different fin LOL

My new fins 🙂

In Boracay you can do a lot of beach activities, all the activities that you could think of, you can find them there, I have already tried almost all of the beach activities, and I can’t wait for my kids to try and experience them over time when we go there in the future. So if you guys visit Philippines, Boracay Island is a must place to visit.
